If you weren't lucky enough to score an early download code for the Halo: Reach beta, there's good news: the beta opens up to Halo 3: ODST owners today. For those among us who did pop into Bungie's latest shooter over the weekend, however, let me hear your favorite moments in the multiplayer beta thus far. I have to admit, it was tough to wipe the smirk off my face the first time I floated into the air via jetpack and nailed a headshot. That didn't, uh, happen very many times after that, though.
Tell me your favorite Halo: Reach moment from this weekend.

Using the Guard armour pack to defend the free flag while my teams tries to rush back over. I ended up dying but I was able to keep the opposing team away long enough till my arrive, and the flag reset. We ended up winnning from a tied match up. :D

Flying around above everybody else with a jetpack and assassinating an unsuspecting enemy, or going on a killing spree with camo and a shotgun.

what the heck so i skip school the get the beta first then it comes out the same time i get home and now it says that the server is not available at this time why

My favorite moment so far was in a free for all game. A guy was in the assassination animation and I stuck the guy he was assassinating with a sticky and blew them both up before he was done with the kill animation. I stole his kill, got the double and he didn't get the assassination. It was awesome.

My guess is that they are aiming to release it when most people are at work. The problem is that this way about two million people are going to be trying to download it at the same time when they get home from work/school.
Remember, its not like this is a game we payed for, yet, This is their beta, they can do whatever the hell they want. I just wish they would hurry up with it.

the fact is that by releasing it like they are they are setting themselves up for potential problems. if they released it at mid night alot of poeple would be sleeping thus it wouldnt be such a mad rush to download it. but by releasing it when they are expect bad things....but hope for the best.

Mine was when I realized that my Halo 3 disc wasn't ODST and I won't be buying ODST just to play the beta...

Every game of Headhunter and Stockpile, really. It gives a good new spin on the classic modes which works well with the Halo style of games.
That, and the jetpack, of course. Really aids in mobility.
Just remember that it is a beta, and if you play it for long enough, you will grow sick of its flaws.

Still waiting for bungie to turn on the beta.. Excited to play the new Halo. Sense I didn't even play ODST for more then 2 minutes. It wasn't MP so I didn't have much interest in it..

I'm here in Michigan and it is 12:08. Still nothing for a download. I have to work at 2 and i was hoping to get some game time in before I head go work. I guess that isn't going to happen. :(

Yo Nagato6192....plz dont talk bout patients....I woke up at 6:00 eastern time, it said preview the beta..on ODST disc...checked at 8:00 still preview the beta.....now I just went to school...came home for lunch...it's 12:00....4 hours later and it still says preview the beta..i'm tired of waiting been waiting for 6 hours..they've had months to settle in..give us the Beta already, it's monday may 3rd..it's long past "late morning" here. "Late morning" for the westcoast, is like 3:00PM for east coast, day almost over...What gives..... bad planning on bungie's part..they didn't consider time differences or something. feel bad for people in UK probably like been waiting all day..shame
