Last week, I offered up my thoughts on the Xbox 360 version of Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, and now I’m here to share my impressions of the Wii version. While there are a few similarities between the Wii version and the other console versions, Forgotten Sands Wii brings a host of unique features to the table in the form of special abilities, co-op and more. Here's one sequence that stood out during my brief time with the game:
"Speaking of smooth, the game’s engine runs at a slick 60 FPS, and this first level took full advantage of it as the surrounding environment cracked and crumbled all around the Prince. There was a great bit of destruction in one of the later levels where I had to actually run up the side of crumbling tower, jumping between the tower and a solid wall, in order to reach the topmost platform. Yeah. It was kind of rad."
Unless you feel like jeopardizing the space/time continuum, I suggest you check out my Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Wii hands-on preview this instant!

You know, I think I actually like what I've seen of the Wii visuals better than the 360 and PS3. I guess it's because it feels more in line with the the SoT trilogy. The PS3 and 360 footage has felt kind of soulless to me, particularly when compared to the original Sands of Time.
