We spoke to Bungie multiplayer designers Lars Bakken and Derek Carroll, and they gave us a detailed look at how armor abilities work, how falling damage has been re-instituted, what changes have been made to vehicles in Halo: Reach, how melee has been changed, how the elimination of dual-wielding has changed Halo's control scheme and more.

[UNSC] Grenade Launcher + Armor Lock Loadout for Stockpile & Invasion gametypes would completely shut out the offensive team.

ok. so the UNSC grenade launcher... epic. u can pretty much use it like C4 so for all the campers out there... merry christmas. i definately think that once they see how RAPE the covenant grenade launcher is in the beta then they'll definately take out the personnel lock out of it in the final game. overall though looks freakin sweet. pistol's back XD. been waiting for that and the DMR since halo 2. im giddy. cant wait

More options means more stradegies to employ, means a lot more fun and intellgient/creative gameplay with people! Nothing feels better than to out manuever and outsmart your opponent who still can't comprehend all the new weapons, abilities, and vehicular mayhem combinations at your disposal!However, this time Bungie needs to keep all options available in their multiplayer matchmaking maps! (I loved radars and flares in the Halo3 Beta release!, Tweak the functions, don't just get rid of the playability!!! Else all that hard work was for nothing!) Hopefully then learned that by now for this new release, else they will have a lot of dissapointed fans from Beta to Full Retail. Oh and overly used weapons need to be limited!! BR start for everyone was a horrible idea! Please keep the side quests of finding power weapons on a map open!!! I hate MW2 because you start with any option you chose, and thus no other purpose to find vehicles or explore the maps.

Did anyone else notice the "night vision" mapped on the D-pad (skip to 4:15)? I really hope there will be some night levels.
