In what's become nearly a daily reoccurrence, there are new reports of departures from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward, in the wake of Activision firing their former leadership, Jason West and Vince Zampella, and the formation of a Call of Duty business unit.
A source close to Infinity Ward has informed me that both lead programmer Robert Field and human resources and recruiting head Kristin Cotterell have announced their resignations from the studio. Field and Cotterell have updated their Linkedin profiles to reflect past employment.
There are more Respawn Entertainment recruits, too.
Field and Cotterell join lead character artist Joel Emslie and artists Ryan Lastimosa and Brad Allen, who I reported as leaving Infinity Ward yesterday. The number of Infinity Ward departures on Monday, then, was five employees.
Another two -- yes, on top of the two discovered yesterday -- have made their conversion to Respawn Entertainment official, as well. Senior level designer Jason McCord and senior artist Ryan Lastimosa, both of whom left Infinity Ward in the past week, have updated Linkedin with mention of taking similar positions at West and Zampella's new Electronic Arts-backed studio.
The staff members who have left Infinity Ward is now a whopping 26. Since the formation of Respawn Entertainment earlier this month, they've picked up 12 ex-Infinity Ward developers.

so what is the total count of how many people had left and how many people had joined respawn?

How many employees were at IW before this whole debacle? Wiki says 80 plus but obviously that isn't the most reliable source. Either way good for them and wish them the best of luck.
