Try imagining miniaturezed versions of Spider-Man and the X-Men fighting out in your head and not endlessly cracking a smile. The concept of a LEGO Marvels video game makes perfect sense. It makes such perfect sense, in fact, that LEGO series developer Traveller's Tales was pursuing the Marvel license a few years back, according to studio director Jon Burton.

“We were THIS close to a Marvel LEGO a few years ago," said Burton over Twitter, discovered by The Lost Gamer, "but Megabloks did an exclusive deal for Spider-man so that was that…”

Given that Traveller's Tales is now owned by Warner Bros., a movie house with close ties to the DC universe, a LEGO Marvel game (at least from Traveller's Tales) seems out of the question. With more DC movies coming down the pipe, however, a LEGO DC game doesn't sound insane!
