There's a sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum in development, but details on Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 are scarce. All we've had to work with was analyzing a vague teaser trailer -- until now.
The floodgates on Arkham Asylum 2 haven't opened just yet (it's likely still the early days for the game), but Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy attended the C2E2 comic convention in Chicago this weekend and found himself spilling some of the first details about the follow-up to questioning fans.
A Batman fan apparently tricked him into revealing Two-Face will be in the game.
"There's a very complicated cast," he laughed after realizing he'd been tricked, according to a report from the panel by Comic Resources. "A lot of villains are in it. I'll just leave it at that!"
Conroy did open up about the tone of the sequel, however, and he compared Arkham Asylum 2 to Batman: Return of the Joker, a fan-favorite animated film known for its dark story elements.
"It's [Arkham Asylum 2] really, really dark," he said. "It involves a lot of the villains and it goes to that area -- it's that dark."
A Warner Bros. representative had not responded to my request for comment as of yet.
Arkham Asylum was released late last summer to critical and commercial acclaim. Sadly, there is currently no release date -- or even a release year! -- for the anticipated Arkham Asylum 2.

I loved the first game so much. Didn't care for the boss fights much though. They just didn't feel like how batman would take someone out.
But I absolutely can't wait for the sequel!

Spoiler Alert:
I heard Desmond Miles meets up with Batman and tells them they are cousins. Batman/Bruce Wayne finds out he has ancestral bloodlines with the Creed. Ezio becomes Batmans new sidekick and take over the world.

Since it seems to be placed outside of Arkham it'll probably be called "Batman: Gotham City" or something.

I think that you should be able to use the batmobile and other bat vehicles when ever you want, as well as travel through gotham city freely. I also think that it would be cool if there was some kind of downloadable content where you can play as Nightwing. I really want to see how Two face will look,and i hope these villians will also be in the game Mr. freeze, Jane Doe,Ras Alghul, talia Alghul,Hugo strange,Baby doll( the lady who looks like a child, she was in the 1992 and 1998 series), fire fly,Mad Hatter, ETC. All in all I'm just happy that they kept the god himself Kevin Conroy, which means it's definitely going to be a good game!!!!!!!!1
Is it just me or does anyone else want to run up and down freely in wayne manor, and the many levels of the batcave???

Definitely a must buy for me. I enjoyed the first AA, though the boss battles could have been a little better. The Joker was a little disappointing to me, but in the end, it didn't really take away from the overall experience.

The first AA was pretty dark to begin with. Is this a hint that it's "really, really dark" to the extent that it's Mature-rated?

As someone who has never been extremely familiar with the Batman universe, it might sound strange coming from me when I say that I found Arkham Asylum to be one of the absolute best games I played last year. I tried the demo and found it surprisingly fun, so I bought the game, worried that it might be a bad idea. But guess what? It ended up being amazing! (I'm also very thankful that the game had biographies of the characters because if there wasn't, I wouldn't know crap about most of the characters. lol)

This is probably one of the only games I have been actually excited to see since I played the last Batman.
Game didnt get nearly as much attention as it deserved.

Its not that big of a surprise after all Two-Face was mentioned in the previous game plus he was hinted at in the teaser trailer
