For lovers of quirky, witty, episodic gaming, today is a very good day. Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse, the newest season of Telltale Games adored adventure series, is available today on PlayStation 3, PC and Mac. And while this is reason enough for Sam & Max fans to be excited, Telltale and Valve have partnered to celebrate the release of Devil’s Playhouse by offering those who pre-ordered the game or who purchase it on Steam some bonus items for another quirky, albeit totally different kind of game, Team Fortress 2.
Why, you might ask? Because as the TF2 team explains at their official blog, they are big fans of Telltale Games and have wanted to do something together for a while now, and the result is that Sam & Max lovers can now wear Max’s severed head as a hat and use Max’s pistol and/or Sam’s revolver in Team Fortress 2. Who says dreams never come true (besides Stephen “I crush souls” Johnson?)
Anyone plan to pick up The Devil’s Playhouse today?

Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse is not available on Wii or Xbox 360. It is now available on PC, Mac, ipad, and Playstation 3.

Although I really would've preferred Sam's stylish Fedora to compliment the one already existing in TF2, I am really considering picking this up.
