Jake Gaskill got the chance to sit down with upcoming downloadable platformer Rocket Knight, the follow up to 1994’s Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2, which is, in Jake's words, "one of the top 10 greatest old-school platformers to feature a rocket-propelled opossum as the hero."
I can't argue with that. Jake went on to say:
"In Rocket Knight, players once again assume the role of Sparkster, the aforementioned opossum, who must re-strap on his beloved rocket pack and defend his land from annihilation. As you’d expect, the quirky nature of the game’s premise translates into the gameplay and design, which should come as no surprise to anyone who ever played the original Rocket Knight games on the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo."

Good news indeed, I was wondering when another game in the series would come out!

I loved the old Genesis one. Hope it comes with the original one. If not I'll still buy it though.

I actually still own and played " Rocket Knight Adventures " many years ago on the Genesis 16 System.
It's amazing how the graphics actually looks very similar to the original version after all these years. I just hope it is not as repetitive as the original game was: Sally Wong.
