Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Welcome to TheFeed's new, community-driven feature, the daily Reacharound. We're going to try basing discussion posts around interesting comments, and handing out swag to the people whose thoughts we post.

The big news today: Jason West and Vincent Zampella, the geniuses behing Modern Warfare and Infinity Ward, officially announced the formation of a new company, Respawn Entertainment, that will partner with Activision's main competition, Electronic Arts.

Reader ScienceOfSleep responds:

there are no good guys in this battle, and therefore we the gamers lose.

I totally disagree. I'm going to play devil's advocate and say there are no bad guys in the battle: Only people with competing  interests, and that ultimately, gamers will win. We'll likely see a new IP from the creators of Modern Warfare--an IP the creators will own--and we'll also get new blood in the Modern Warfare development pipeline. That's what I call a win-win. Please respond passionately below.

(Devil's advocate or not, we're going to send ScienceOfSleep a G4 T-shirt.)
