Guess who's going to to comic store on friday cause I have no more free time this week! =D
Also, I need to pick up those parker novel comics.
Thanks for all the awesome suggestions and updates!

Yay, my comment got mentioned! Thanks for clearing that up for me, Blair! And I'm pleased to hear that we had similar opinions of the She-Hulk one-shot. It was over-priced for what it was but I did enjoy the first story quite a bit.
Kudos on another great show! I'm gonna have to add some more comics to my list now and scour the web for that Man with the Getaway Face!

Shield #1 a must buy I mean it. But the tidbit at the end makes me wish I saved this podcast for Wednesday, now I have to wait 1,2,3,4 too long for the huge announcement, oh the suspense. Man I have to catch up with Invincible.

Shield #1 was awesome. I will pick up #2 just to see where this is going. I am sad you didn't mention Flash Origins. I thought it was an awesome lead in to the new series. Also, Uncanny X this week was amazing, giving us more of the Second Coming storyline, and nightcrawler learning about X-force. And the last issue of Cable. Seeing DP and Cable together again was great. You almost never mention X books. Do you not read them or what? I know there are a lot of them, but Uncanny and X force are good reads. New mutants started well but is dropping pretty fast.
Also, WHY DID YOU TELL US ABOUT THE THING NEXT THURSDAY! I must know now what is going on!! I am freaking out because i want to know!

I have to get my hands on The Man With The Getaway Face! I picked up The Hunter because I love noir and the modern retelling with Mel Gibson in Payback. Darwin Cooke's book is absolutely brilliant. Thanks Blair for at least letting us know that the book is out there.

I so forgot that the Shield was out this week. I have read really any previous Shield stories but I love Jonathan Hickman's writing so much that I'm going to pick it up. I might also pick up the Buffy issue as well for the "story".

I did not pick up the Cap/Black Panther book or SHIELD. I was waiting until I heard a review. Maybe I'll pick up SHIELD #1 tomorrow.

I'm a little biased, I think John Byrne's Man of Steel as the definitive Superman origin but your high praise for Origin may have me picking up the collected edition. By the way, where do you stand on Byrne's interpretation?
