The day that gamers everywhere thought would never come has arrived: Alan Wake is done!
Remedy announced via Twitter today that their long anticipated thriller-shooter has "passed certification and has officially been completed!" In addition, Remedy has bumped up the European release date to May 14, a week earlier than previously announced. Wake is still scheduled for release in North America on May 18 and Japan on May 27.
Clearly, this game has been a long time coming, so it’s no wonder that Remedy popped some bubbly to celebrate Wake’s completion (I know this becasue they posted some party pictures on their forums to prove it). Remedy also released a new developer diary entitled “Building the Thriller,” which features some brand new gameplay footage and more details about the game’s story and design.
(Spoiler: this game looks insane)
