In addition to giving everyone around the G4 offices a little taste of Scandinavian despair via various types of disturbing candy, developer Fatshark really showed us a great time when they stopped by a few months back to show off their downloadable shooter Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West. And while it was announced a couple weeks ago that the game would be hitting the PC (on Steam, $14.99) April 8, the status of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions has been a mystery.
Well, Fatshark CEO Martin Wahlund recently told Joystiq that the multiplayer western will hit PlayStation Network in late April, and Xbox Live Arcade sometime thereafter. Fatshark has said it plans to support the game with post-launch downloadable content, and I don’t think they’d release DLC unless all versions of the game are out, so chances are the XBLA version can’t be that far off. The game is a blast, so the more channels it's available on, the better.

I'm going to be honest. When i saw "Lead and Gold" i was excited to hear details about "Lead" being Sony's free online service and "Gold" being Sony's P2P service. Was hoping Gold was gunna push PSN further than what it is now.

Seeing as this was originally announced a month or so ago that it was supposed to come out YESTERDAY across the platforms, I'm very sad (As I was going to get it for XBLA to play with all my comrades). Now I have to wait until at least May? Bad form, Fatshark.
I'll definitely demo it on PSN, though.

for some reason i thought lead and gold ment something like gold on xbox live and it was confirmed there was going to be a pricing to play online on the ps3 lol.

I preordered it on Steam and got access to the beta version. It's hella awesome!!! I'm actually surprised there are not more ppl playing this game. It's a great online multiplayer for $15.
