The Guinness organization named a new world record holder for Street Fighter IV. U.K. gamer Ryan Hart took on 169 challengers in four hours and beat them all, breaking the previous record by 61 for the record title Longest winning streak on Street Fighter IV.
“It was like watching a machine in action! Ryan is a Terminator,” said Guinness Editor-in-Chief Craig Glenday, who adjudicated the event. “One after the other, the challengers fell by the wayside as Ryan sat calmly, quietly knocking them off like a silent killer. His quickest victory – a Perfect finish – took just 7 seconds against a bewildered Chun-Li. The average survival time was about 12 seconds. It was a massacre in Hull.”
The world's record for fattest twins on mopeds still belongs to the McGuire Twins. (pictured below.)

Ryan is a beast. Well known UK player from the gate he has been winning. Yep he plays the character that half of the top 50 players in Japan play. SAGAT. I think he has played Diago and beat him.
So the comment about BuCkToOtH and J-Wong holds a little clout. I am sure he would not have a very long streak against the top players in the world. But put him in a room full of hardcore street fighter fans and he will run game all day.
Yes the record was killed by J-Wong at E3 or comic con I can't remember now. I don't know why Ryan has the record. Maybe it is time and victories. I think any of the east coast street fighter players, and or any west coast players in the states could set records in the right place with the right people.

The next question would be.... Can He Beat Daigo? Can He beat J.Wong?

He used Sagat, and his record was broken about 3 months ago by Justin Wong, who beat 300 challengers in a row if I'm correct.

is there a video on youtube of this beast in action?

pretty impressive to win so many rounds in a row..i dont like playing these games online too bc of the unblockables..fighting cheesy people always reminds me of playing tekken against someone with Eddie :/

This is one of the many reasons why I hate playing SFIV online. It totally takes the fun out of the game. How fun is it to fight in a match that only last on average 12 seconds?? Well, pretty fun for the guy doing the winning, but then again not really. If it's on average 12 seconds, he is probably using the same combo sequence that is probably unblockable, which leads to a super combo finish. Over and over the same series of attacks. It's like a lot of these SFIV online gamers spend more time trying to pull of these unbeatable moves, then actually enjoy playing the game!! But I would love to see the video!!

i want to see this guy play justin wong or buktooth and see how long his streak lasts then

12 seconds... I bet that's how long this guy would last against Kaqn at guilty gear... (joking)

Any video to share? Wouldn't mind seeing one of the matches.

Which fighter did he use?

Not really an achievement, if it's like the previous record holder he's basically playing random people on the street with absolutely no SF skills whatsoever. Let's see how long his streak would last at a professional competition.
