Lost Planet 2 Gets New Demo And New Release Date

Get ready for some more bite-sized Lost Planet 2 multiplayer mayhem, folks. Capcom announced today that a new demo will hit Xbox Live on April 21 and PlayStation Network on April 22 that will include support for up to 16 players and is set in the online versus mode map "Turbulent Jungle.” Stat tracking and voice chat will also be included.

Capcom will be handing out community-distributed vouchers soon that will let players access the demo starting March 31. Also, if you download the demo and then pick up a copy of Lost Planet 2, you’ll be rewarded with access to the three round burst menace Machine Gun SP. Good for you; bad for your enemies.

And if that wasn’t enough LP2 news for you today, Capcom also announced that the game will now be available a week earlier on May 11, with the PC version to follow in the Fall.

Should the need arise, feel free to E-Mail me your tips, suggestions, and/or personal philosophies, or follow me on Twitter.
