Uttering the name Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 turns heads in any large number of crowds across gaming masses. After learning of the first upcoming 5-map DLC pack, many of you voiced your opinions. Affectionately titled the "Stimulus Package," the $15 (1200 MSP) DLC includes the following five maps:
- “Bailout,” a multi-level apartment complex
- “Storm,” an open industrial park littered with heavy machinery
- “Salvage,” a snowy junkyard fortified by stacked debris and crushed cars.
- Two legendary fan-favorites from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare return, including “Crash,” a war-torn urban environment
- and “Overgrown,” which features a massive dry creek bed.
The "Stimulus Package" hits Xbox Live first on March 30, with the PC and PlayStation 3 packs scheduled for later this year.

The maps suck. I am already bord with them. i am going back to WAW and the 1200 points for thous map was a joke . I think Infinity ward is starting to lose it on making games.

with the addition of Bad Company 2, MW2 just doesn't seem as good anymore, it's still a good game, but the more I play BC2, the more MW2 just doesn't seem as fun.
Plus, $15 dollars for 5 maps is outrageous! i probably won't get it

I don't know why all the fuss, yeah, it's over priced, but what can we do about it? Nothing but shut up and pay for it or not, I guess. Bailout and Storm look pretty sick though.

I'm not into the 1200 MS Points ($15) price point for 3 new maps and 2 recycled maps and I don't think anyone else should be either. If you pay this, it sets a precedent and other companies will begin charging 1200 MS Points for their packs. I don't like the fact that Activision/IW are exploiting COD:MW2 and trying to shake down everyone for more money. (I know. Activision ran GH into the ground so I shouldn't be surprised.)
I think I'm gonna pass until they come to their senses and realize we won't be so easily coerced.

the new maps look really good. but if i wanted to play crash and overgrown, i would put in call of duty 4(witch is the better of the two) and blast people with my GOLD shotgun. and as for 5 dollars a map? they know people are going to buy so why not overprice it. its kinda like the gas prices. and im sick of xbox getting evrything first. the system is garbage. i guess its just that its easier to make on that thing or something. well atleast i wil be able to here some reviews on it before i buy it

If they could easily throw in two old maps as filler, then why can't they just give us all the multiplayer maps from past games. [For free of course] I would love to play Makin from world at war with modern weapons.

I'm still baffled at the idea that this game doesn't have dedicated servers. SOCOM back on the PS2 had a far better transition from one host to another with more players in the room. Why is it kicking IW's A$$? Then again why was the media so impressed at E3 2009 when they showed the host migration as if they accomplished some great feet in online gaming?
$15 bucks for 3 new maps? Is Activision really that idiotic?

Why is this not coming out for all systems on the same day? Because Micro$oft paid to have their customers ripped off by Activision before Sony did. Give it some time, then everyone will get their money taken evenly.
Really, $15 for this? Only the COD sheep will be buying this. If you can't figure out that paying $15 for 3 new maps, and 2 old ones, sorry..."classic" maps is a rip off, then you deserve to have Activision take your money.

I am really fighting with this...I "love" the series. I always have gotten the map packs to make sure I can get the most of my time on the game. However, ....W T bleep bleep. 15 Dollars for it?! When will it end?! You have now turned that $70 game into an $85 and so on. I can afford it, but that is not the point. They are taking two "old" maps and making us pay premium for them and they call this a "STIMULUS PACK" !! I am reallly feeling taken advantage of here. "Anyone, have some ointment?" All the while battlefield is GIVING us free maps. Well, at least we know who really cares about the gamers. See you on the battlefield, whichever it may be.
