Remember back in November? When Activision tried to hype its soon-to-be released Modern Warfare 2 with a viral video that was supposedly created by a fake organization called "Fight Against Grenade Spam?" And everyone was like, "Say, that ad is pretty offensive; it says it's brought to you by "F.*G.S." Well, today, EA is firing back.
EA's viral ad for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is brought to you by innocuous fake organization Friends Really Against Grenade Spam (F.R.A.G.S), and is actually funny, unlike Activision's original. Check for yourself:
The only problem is: Isn't this a little late? I mean, how insider-y is it for one combat game to make a flat out parody of another company's YouTube video nearly half a year since the last one got posted? Besides, given all that's gone down with Infinity Ward and Activision, wouldn't you imagine the satire would be a bit more cutting?
But whatever, I guess. Just enjoy, and let us know what you think in the comment section below.
