Cheats and Walkthroughs

THQ’s atmospheric shooter Metro 2033 has only been on store shelves for a day, but the developers have turned their sights to the prospect of downloadable content for the critically acclaimed title. A new title update was released for the game this morning, which added the ability for DLC to be applied to the game whenever said DLC is released.
The developers aren’t quite ready to share the details about what the DLC might be other than it won’t be "[single-player] narrative content, ‘missing levels,’” or multiplayer. That pretty much just leaves co-op, or it could be something entirely new and awesome that I can’t think of because it’s too awesome and I haven’t had enough caffeine yet. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
The title update also adds a new Weapon Select system designed to be more Xbox 360 friendly, instead of simply being a PC control scheme mapped to a 360 controller. You can find a breakdown of the new scheme over at the game’s official Facebook page.
I’ve been looking forward to Metro 2033 for a few years now, and I can’t wait to check it out, especially since people have been using Half-Life 2 and BioShock as reference points for it.
Anyone out there playing it at the moment? What are your thoughts so far?
Should the need arise, feel free to E-Mail me your suggestions, tips, and/or personal philosophies, or follow me on Twitter.

a game as good as this one deserves to at least be reviewed. the game plays out very well with its amazing story its gunplay is ok but it does not matter as the game isnt heavily based on its gunplayand the way the hud works is done very well and makes the game very immersive i highly recommend this game or at least rent it, a truly good game

Reviews are starting to roll in late for this game. I assume the Devs. didn't want reviews to be released until the game's official launch.

I'm a few hours in and it's pretty cool. The setting and atmosphere is awesome. It's pretty tense at times with the sound up and the lights low.

I've only played for about an hour and it's awesome. I will without a doubt buy the DLC, considering I only payed $50 for the game anyway because of the GameStop preorder deal.

It's amazing, the story is just intresting the atmosphere feels hopeless unlike fallout and bioshock. You really have to conserve ammo, upgrade and such. I'm enjoying it so far. And I will be buying any dlc for this game :).

And of course no one writes anything, i really want to know about this game and there's next to no reviews for it. =/
