"On the primary Move controller, you point at the screen to direct your aiming direction; the sub-controller’s analog stick is used for directional movement, strafing in particular. Even though this version of SOCOM 4 is still very much a work-in-progress, the effect was achieved as I ran through the war-torn map."

I agree with wommy. Whats the point of using a motion controler if all you are moving is your fingers and maybe a wrist. Thats no different than the 6 axis controller that sony already has.
Am interested to see if this application of Move is just merely a novelty or if Sony is going to do something much better with it.

When will they learn that FPSs just don't work with motion controllers? It completely sucks actually. Anyone that buys those types of games are not going to play it that way. I can see other games doing fine with it, but come on! Be realistic. It's not going to happen. They should concentrate on other games that aren't Wii rip offs and leave the FPS genre alone. Don't get me wrong here, I'm cheering Sony on (I love my PS3), but it pains me to see them blatantly ripping off Nintendo. At least Natal is doing something different.

the most obvious problem is how quickly you can turn around.... if the subcontroller's analog stick is to stafe and move forward or backward, and you aim by pointing at the screen, then you probably have to turn my pointing at the edge of the screen, which really makes turning sluggish... to make a 180, i move my mouse less then a quarter a centimeter... you know how quick that is? you know how slow this is going to be?

I shouldn't have an opinion before it comes out but, if I'm just going to rest my hands on my lap why won't I just use a controller?
