Sony Reveals Publishers Supporting PlayStation Move During GDC 2010The world now knows Sony’s motion controller is called PlayStation Move, and accompanying that news comes a list of major developers and publisher that will be throwing their support behind the device when it launches this fall.

Hit the break for the full list.

Here’s the full list:

  • 505 Games U.S.
  • Activision Publishing, Inc.
  • AQ INTERACTIVE Inc.
  • ARC SYSTEMS WORK CO.,LTD
  • ATLUS Co., LTD.
  • Bigben Interactive
  • CAPCOM CO., LTD.
  • CCP
  • Crave Entertainment
  • CYBERFRONT Corporation
  • Disney Interactive Studios
  • Electronic Arts Inc.
  • FromSoftware, Inc.
  • Game Republic, Inc.
  • GUST CO., LTD.
  • HUDSON SOFT CO., LTD.
  • IREM SOFTWARE ENGINEERING INC.
  • Koei Co., Ltd.
  • Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd.
  • Majesco Entertainment
  • Marvelous Entertainment Inc.
  • NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc.
  • ONGAKUKAN Co., Ltd.
  • Oxygen Games
  • PAON CORPORATION
  • Q Entertainment Inc.
  • Q-GAMES, LTD.
  • SEGA CORPORATION
  • Sony Online Entertainment
  • Spike Co., Ltd.
  • SQUARE ENIX GROUP
  • TECMO, LTD.
  • THQ Inc.
  • UBISOFT
  • Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment
  • Zoo Entertainment, Inc.

None of these names are all that surprising. The one that has Sterling McGarvey most interested is Q-Games, since it suggests a possible motion controlled, PixelJunk title. This is also an compelling proposition since it could mean that we’ll see some truly original and “sticky” downloadable titles that use Move in exciting and attractive ways. That’s just speculation of course, but that’s all we really have at this point.

So I’ll open it up to you, readers: What games (original or established franchises) would you most like to see from these publishers/developers?

    Big names, big names..
[ATLUS, CAPCOM, Disney, Koei , Konami, NAMCO, Q Entertainment, SEGA, Sony, SQUARE-ENIX, TECMO, THQ, & Ubisoft]

Disney was NOT a surprise at all.

So CAPCOM, huh? PSMove with Street Fighter??

NAMCO..Same deal as CAPCOM with Tekken??

    Q Entertainment..same Developer of Ninety Nine Nights..hmmm..

THQ..I can only predict awesomeness from them.
[THQ > EA & Activision, at this point]

But the most INTERESTING one there is TECMO..
    ..Heheheheheh..TECMO + PSMove = Really? LOL
The only thing that comes to mind with that is..
.."DoA: Extreme Beach Volleyball 3". XD

    To answer the question though..
..I would like to see established franchises get the PSMove graft-on treatment, especially with Hack & Slash games.
'Cause the Wii already has Rail Shooters, so this would be an awesome opportunity to establish Hack & Slash games as the PSMove's trademark genre (since it already IS the Playstation's trademark genre; with Shooters being on XBox).

    @JustTheBeginning

Media Molecule and Zipper are developers, not publishers. And both companies are studios owned by Sony (if I remember correctly).
