Activision has a lot of work ahead of them with their franchise reboot True Crime. Not only do they have to convince players to give the series a fresh start, but they also have to differentiate it from other open-world crime games. Based on what Patrick Klepek saw during GDC 2010 though, it seems the developers are at least on the right track:
"In the demo, I watched the developers hop around the game world in a manner not unlike Altair or Ezio in Assassin's Creed. There's verticality to the movement of the main character that creates a host of options to the player when deciding how to tackle the enemies in front of them."

Can't really base anything off the trailer because there is no gameplay. But the anamations are too stiff, so it looks like they didn't do anything with the game but up the visuals to next gen. This game will probably come up a little short of being a good game like the other two did.

Looks like them, but why is there sparks coming off of someone when they get kicked? Maybe i am just seeing things wrong

I enjoyed the first game, mainly the being able to slow down time when aiming is all, but this game actually looks really good all around, but we will have to see.
Wonder if they will bring back snoop dogg? Haha.

This makes GTA4 look like an idiot.
Saints Row 3 and Volition better step their 5hit up, or they will be royally boned!

The first True Crimes was decent enough, it's a shame what happened in the sequel.
Shoddy driving physics, clunking combat and that terrible Redman game, the Snoop game from the first was better.

i liked both of the true crimes this one looks great the combat is really improved but gametrailers has a actual gameplay trailer it shows off some cool combat moves you can do.

I'm looking foward to this game!! I actually like the first True Crime game when I had it for the first XBOX.
