We're all excited about Portal 2. We've previous reported that the sequel to the greatest first-person puzzle game ever will be out this holiday season, and that it contains a co-op campaign and will likely be playable on Macs. But today, a ton of new info on the game was revealed through Game Informer magazine's cover story.
It's too much, honestly.
One of the things I loved about Portal was how out-of-left-field the game was. Who would have suspected that a six-hour tech demo was actually one of the best video games ever made? Who could have predicted that the story would be the best part of a puzzle game?
So I don't want to know what surprises Portal 2 has in store.
You can feel free to click this spoiler-laden link and look at all the details, but I'm going to keep myself on information lock-down until it comes out.

I'll wait til I get my GameInformer before I'm going to read all that.
@NuBeatz
I don't think it would be perfect but it would be pretty cool.

This actually made me forget about Starcraft2 for a few moments. Flipping exciting.
And nubeatz i disagree that it would be the perfect game for the Wii, for the only fact that the Wii is not HD, this game could just not truly be appreciated in 480p, I'm sorry.
NuBeatz
Portal would be the perfect game for the Wii

I'm very excited for this game although I most likely won't be playing co-op. Not because I have no friends, well kinda that, but mainly because Portal seems like a single player only game. I liked being by myself solving the puzzles with glados making me feel stupid and scared.

After my border-line disgusting coverage of L4D2, It'll be really hard to resist...but I must!

I went in the first game knowing nothing, and that's how I plan on going into this one.

I appreciate your honesty and completely agree with your choice to remain as spoiler-free as possible. Portal 2 doesn't need hype and advertising. We just need to know two things: "Portal 2" and the release date and we'll all buy it.

Six hours is a bit generous. After all the hype of the DaValve Code, I went back and played it again. It took me all of two hours. Short, but still awesome.

Seriously, with all the games coming out this year, do game makers want me to have a social life? Thank Christ i have a job interview this Saturday.
