All this week, G4 is celebrating the beta release of Starcraft II. To help out lucky beta players, we got Blizzard lead designer Dustin Browder to drop some tips and techniques for the sci fi real-time strategy game.

I totally needed to see those vids on the Zerg Rush & Detection.
Any little bit of advice helps, especially since I haven't played in FOREVER.

I HATE HATE HATE rushes. They were not Saikyo! I hope some WCIII insight is used to prevent ridiculous rushes(Yes, I may have just sucked, but still WCIII examples that helped me fare better: Hero units, Buildings that attacked, "warrior" class gatherers", abilities to turn peasants into militia.
Proudly awaiting downrating, FYI I said I sucked already, folks. Don't rub it in!

You know what all this Beta tips sounds like don't you. Bragging. I am unhappy that everyone else is getting a free taste and I get to sit and play my old star craft, waiting for the holidays just to be told by Blizzadr they are going to yet delay the release of the game even longer, giving all the beta testers jsut that much more time to play and brag. This is a hopless and endless cycle. please Blizzard end it soon.
