All this week, G4 is celebrating the beta release of Starcraft II. To help out lucky beta players, we got Blizzard lead designer Dustin Browder to drop some tips and techniques for the sci fi real-time strategy game.
Today is day three, and we're taking a look at offense: Crush your enemies with these tips.
Here's how to harass and lash out at your enemies with “disposable” units; plus, how to protect yourself from it.
The video below discusses how and when to expand in a game of Starcraft II.
Here's day one was all about the basics, and day two was resource management in case you missed 'em. Check back tomorrow: We'll be bringing you the keys to an unbelievable offense.

One day I hope someone will also make StarCraft II for the Wii, just as how someone made StarCraft64 for the N64

Can I have your Battle.Net account Stephen? Blizzard wouldn't send me a Beta key.

I'm loving these little helper videos. I like the spirit of them. I know that most people interested in StarCraft 2 at this point kinda know the basics at least but I love that blizzard is being approachable and friendly to people who are just now getting into the whole RTS thing. Good show Blizzard, I like the message of acceptance and helpfulness.

4 reapers when used with efficient micro, can kill 1 worker per volley. With a short attack animation coupled with high attack speed. You're looking at a viable major hit to your economy. If you're zerg, send your overlord on a cliff spot or edge you know they'll use to jump across. this will give you time to mount your defense or burrow your workers. If you're protoss, the photon cannons are your best bet.

Currently, I've noticed that a lot of Terran players are favoring the Marines/Marauders units grouped together to offering both firepower and versatility early game.
If anyone has effective counter measures for this please share with, Kanjan. Headaches are mounting.

You have to remember that the beta just started. It could take a very long time to find unique strategies to SC2 because the game has that much depth to it just like the original. And that's what makes the game so great. I'm sure we'll start hearing about awesome strategies in the months to come.

These are the same strategies you'd find in SC1. I would love to hear some strategies unique to SC2.
