UPDATE 11:15 A.M.: Capcom has clarified the bundle for Monster Hunter Tri. The game will be released sans Classic Controller for $49.99, while the bundled version will retail for $59.99. And as readers have speculated, it will come bundled with the updated, superior Classic Controller Pro.
ORIGINAL STORY: Capcom has been trying to make Monster Hunter sink its teeth into North American gamers for a little while now. Their latest attempt will be Monster Hunter Tri, due to arrive on April 20.
The release date was announced at Nintendo's media summit in San Francisco, happening right now.
It was also revealed Monster Hunter Tri would come packed with a classic controller and feature free online multiplayer. In Japan, users have to pay to fight online with friends. Go America!

Amazon offers $10 credit when preordered! Also on Amazon the game only is discounted to $44.99! I know Gamestop offers a demo on March 8 when preordered.

Wow, US gamers actually get something that Japan doesn't?? Wow, this is call for celebration. Usually, games like this give all the good stuff to Japan users and the US gets squat. And then they wonder why we don't buy it.

No edit button. And this is the Pro version of the Classic controller they will be packaging in with the game. This is superior to the current one and there has been question on whether it would see the light of day outside of Japan.

I have been sitting on the fence about trying this title for awhile. I may give it a try. Hopefully Capcom has done something to improve the load times a bit. It's not totally impossible since it has been a while since it released in Japan. It will give them an excuse to release Monster Hunter Tri: International version in Japan.
