Remember earlier today when I told you about the upcoming downloadable content for BioShock 2, and everyone was all, "Hey, why don’t you release a patch before you get around to DLC, jerks?” Turns out that 2K is right there with you, because the publisher just revealed that a new patch for the PC version will be released tomorrow.
But don’t expect the patch to address every issue you have with the game. 2K says they decided to focus on two major issues in order to turn out the patch quickly. Larger patch means longer to be released, so for now, here are the two issues being addressed:
- Fixed an issue where 16:9 resolutions were letterboxed versions of 4:3 resolutions, thereby properly fixing the FOV and expanding the horizontal player view as intended.
- Fixed an issue where holding the M1 button would not register in Multiplayer gameplay.
Well? Would you rather have waited for a bigger patch, or will this do for now?
