There is one advantage to getting games late: You'll know if they're any good by release date time. Section 8 is an example. The derivative shooter from Time Gate has been out on the 360 and PC for over six months, and hasn't exactly set the world on fire during that time -- X-Play's 2 out of 5 review was echoed across most outlets.
Originally the game was announced as a PS3, 360 and PC game, but the PS3 version didn't drop back in September, leading many to assume that it was canceled. Nope. According to IGN, It's still coming, although no date has been announced.
There's always the chance that the PS3 version will contain the DLC released for the 360 version, and that improvements will have been made. If so, and it was offered for a slightly lower price, Time Gate might be on to something.

I played the demo sometime back on xbox live and let me say the only good thing about this game is the way you spawn into the game....You come in from a Ship in space and see the ground getting closer (kinda like ODST) intro but cooler. Other than that this game sucks more than any girl in the Moonlight Bunny Ranch.

Pretty sure that "canceled" is spelled with 2 L's. But im sure Stephen doesnt really care, like how i dont care about this terrible game. Thanks for the news though.

awesome now shooting people with thousands of bullets before they die can come to the ps3! Really did anyone even buy this for the 360 or pc and will anyone buy it for the ps3 with much better games out and that are coming out.

I really hope they don't expect to get extra sales by releasing it on the PS3 after I played it on my friends 360 and laughed at him for buying I said I was glad they scrapped the PS3 version but oh look...they didn't...lucky us, oh well I'm not buy it no one is not when Battle Field: BC, FFXIII, GoWIII and titles that matter are coming out. I actually forgot about this game, guess I have to do it again.

I think Sony should CANCEL it and save the money for a BETTER AAA exclusive...
or maybe the 360 version was just a beta test and the developers are going make it better for the PS3...
since thats what happened to the Tales of Vesperia...the 360 version was confirmed a beta.

It had an awesome song in the commercial for it. But yea, really don't care. If I had a 360 when this was released, still wouldn'tve got it. Could care less if it comes out for the PS3.

As a PS3 owner and all-round gaming enthusiast, ill buy this game for the right price. Maybe $12 or something. It has virtually no story but it still looked cool and played solidly.
