Perfect Dark XBLA Coming March 17, Other Block Party Details Revealed

Calendar marking, inbound! The Xbox Live Arcade version of Rare’s N64 shooter Perfect Dark will finally be yours to enjoy on March 17 for 800 Microsoft Points.

CVG reports that PD will actually be the third arcade title released during Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox Live Arcade Block Party. The first will be Toy Soldiers (1200 MSP) on March 3, followed by Scrap Metal on March 10 (1200 MSP), then Perfect Dark XBLA, and the whole shebang will culminate in the launch of the classic arcade game space for the 360, Game Room, on March 24.

For those planning to download all four items, you'll be pleased to know that Microsoft will refund you 400 MSP for doing so. (Note: Game Room will be free to download, but the games will cost you 400 MSP for a PC/360 version, 250 MSP for either a 360 or PC version, or 40 MSP for a single play.)

It is a Rare game which Microsoft own. So it definitely wont be coming out on ps3

So, all this talk of Perfect Dark got me feeling really nostalgic, so I hooked up my N64 and played a couple of levels. Wow! It's still a great game, but I have a new appreciation for dual-analog sticks!

I'd imagine a GFW-L update will be headed our way soon to add some support for Avatars...that is, if they are used in Game Room.
