I absolutely hate glitchers, hackers, and boosters. I can take getting killed by any of the weapons or attachments that was put in the game on purpose but when i get killed by some loser in a glitch, i get pissed to no end because thats not skill. I also hate joining a game and seeing a 10th prestige and they brag and brag and brag about being 10th prestige when it turns out they probably hacked for it anyways. It ruins the meaning of the very few real 10th prestiges out there and makes me want to stop playing cause whats the point of legitly leveling up when some jack@$$ can just hack his way to the top? And finally i hate players that cage match or free-for-all boost with a friend to get emblems, titles, levels, attachments, headshots, or whatever. Once again it takes no skill and just proves that your to lazy to play like everyone else.

Hopefully they will fix this on the PS3 cause a member in my clan is using this too since someone told him how to, and I refuse to play with him because of it. Playing White Knight Chronicles and Bioshock 2 anyway. By the way, PS3 owners know how to cheat but we'll leave it to those who do it cause they have no skills.

IW i love your games and for about a month i played this nonstop but the more you play an online shooter i have found the more problem you have with the game. i would say i am semi-decent at shooters, but these glitches make the game that much harder to play and enjoy. one person ruins it for everyone, while i realize these issues are somewhat normal i think some of them could have been avoided by beta testing, that doesn't eliminate the problem though. there will always be those who play for fun and those who play to cheat and ruin for the rest of us i am used to it. the problem is that MW2 to me has become alot like a broken toy that you get for your birthday, at first eventhough its broken you don't mind because its still fun, but as you continue to play with a broken toy its not fun, you just get upset cause it wont do what was fun the first time you played with it because there is always a new problem. this is not meant to be a hater or say the game isn't fun but i always feel with these shooters the problems should be addressed quicker and more efficiently or just never come up in the first place, but this does not take away from the experience it just takes away the fun from honest players who work for what they get not for what others take and cheat. the game itself is fun and will always have reason to come back but its broken may i recommend that when you release a map pack please create one with a focus on movement instead of camping. keep up the work and looking forward to what happens next

O ok so only when it pertains to xbox its big news. gotcha. Anyway i would have rather them push the release date back then put out a game with some many glitches and hacks that you just put the game in a cabinet and say screw it.

The problem is, IW tried to please everyone... Leave the glitch problems (which were/are just horrible) aside for a second.

To be good at the first MW you actually needed to be a halfway decent shooter. The M-16 was overpowered, and the P-90 had ridiculous range, but other than that (and a few map glitches) the game worked. But in MW2 they tried to appeal to everyone, they skill modified the crap out of the game to create "balance". But the game is ultimately worse off for it...

In the first game the groups of goo shooters were unstoppable, they rarely lost. Maybe twice a day we would run across another squad of elite shooters, and those matches were some of the most memorable online experiences we had EVER had. Even if we lost in the end, we loved a good fight.

In MW2, IW made killing people too easy... The newest of noobs can run around with the 203 all match and get a decent score. The poorest of shooters can run into a room with akimbo shotguns, and (without even aiming) pull both triggers and get a kill. And don't even get me started on the whole random care package thing,... nothing could be further from balanced than "random". Nothing kills the mood more than when some scrub who's 8-22 gets a chopper gunner in a random care package and rape everyone.

And maybe the worst new addition is the marathon-lightweight-commando- tac knife/throwing knife combo. Who the @#$% at IW thought that was a good idea? They have turned "First Person shooter" into "First Person Stabber". Then of course, there is the heartbeat sensor... "Hey IW, this is MODERN warfare, not G.R.A.W.." Adding akimbo weapons into the mix and i get the feeling that the designers over at IW have been watching too many action movies. I mean, the guns already have zero recoil to them, so why not let the player hold one in each hand...? STUPID. IF they were trying to make an off the wall shooter then they have succeeded, but when i hear them lauding MW2 as being "the greatest shooter of all time" its laughable...

In the end, i feel like IW cares more about money than their fans. They added all these "skill modifiers" to open up the game to less advanced players, and in doing so they effectively ruined the mechanics that made the first MW such a good shooter. Plain & simple, you can't make a solid shooter by taking the skill factor completely out of the equation. Like i mentioned before (to all the people who use the "you just suck at it" cop-out, i had 16,000+kills with a ratio of 1.79. I can drop nukes pretty much whenever i want, but this is STILL crap when it comes down to it.

    That's my $.02
    Peace

I guess I'm a bit confused as to how this ruins the game. I've logged quite a bit of time on MW2 multiplayer and I've only come up against issues like this maybe once or twice that I've been sure its glitching. Living where I do in the US also puts me at a disadvantage due to my bandwidth capabilities, but rather than complain and blame everyone under the sun I chose to see it as just another challenge to rise above.

As with any online game of this sort there will always be hosers and clowns trying to ruin the experience for everyone, but with millions of gamers out there to play with it is an easy fix to just leave that lobby and get into a new one. There are things I don't care for in the game, but Infinity Ward can't please everyone on every single detail. In my opinion this game is still one of the best multiplayer games out currently and I have no plans to stop playing it anytime soon.

If anything we should be thanking the game studio for giving us the game in the first place. Just think about it, if they hadn't made this game then we who love it wouldn't have it to play and those who hate it would have nothing to complain about and they might have to go do something productive. Cancel that, the haters would find something else to complain about. Thanks to IW for patching an already fun game in an effort to make it even more fun.

I loved the infinite care package glitch, you know how much xp you get leveling up cold-blooded by shooting all their crap down. It really doesn't affect you much if you run cold blooded, so its just extra xp.

I would like to understand why people are not going to play this? I do understand the pain in the neck it was, but not half as much as PC users got it. You should understand that we all wanted this game out and the fact that they rushed it out it had bugs at least they patched it.. I wish some games would at least attempt to patch because some companies will not. Take Battlefield: Bad Company for the record the mortar strike is still there after how many years and its still overpowered and can take out almost anything and EA won't take the time to patch or even address the issue. I just believe that everyone should be happy that IW took some time and address the issue with little to no downtime on the game or servers with is a feat in its self.

I played this game since the day of release, and I never got into a game where people were exploiting these glitches (probably because no one on the PS3 knew about them). However, the staggering number of noob tubers and commando knifers made the online extremely annoying, maybe even unplayable for casual gamers.
