Tomorrow, some much anticipated armor and a shotgun will be available for Mass Effect 2 players. Both PC and 360 gamers will be able to download the gear for free at noon through the in-game Cerberus Network. Here's what's on-tap:
Cerberus Assault Armor
Cerberus assault armor is designed for shock troops, turn the tide of battle against creatures or forces that would decimate normal soldiers.
Increases heavy weapon ammo capacity by +10%
Increases shields by +10%
Increases health by +10%
M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun
The M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun is a longer-range shotgun with armor-piercing loads. This design also violates several intergalactic weapons treaties, so the M-22a is not distributed to militaries.
What do you think? Pretty hot, right?

That armor kinda looks like every other mech i've killed in Mass Effect 2. does that mean Cerberus made the robots?

that shotgun might be cool, curious about its damage/spray/ammo_capacity, guess we'll see very soon, and this new armor doesn't look like the crap armor I got with the GameStop pre-order of ME2 or armor code that came with Dragon Age, so I'm kinda happy about that as well

I wonder if they will fix the Helmet issues. I really got sick of Watching my Shepard down another drink into his helmet. I still don't understand why they didn't have that feature to begin with. So what's the point of having a damned face creator when you don't have the option to toggle that helmet off or at least have it off during cut scenes and dialogues.

hopefully the armor is even remotely customizable (like as in we can at least take the helmate off) cause if it isnt I'll never use it.

I like the fact that we're getting armor and weapons through Cerberus but I would also love to see more missions and perhaps some new characters for DLC, sorta like Zaheed.
