Just in time for Superbowl madness,
Electronic Arts today revealed that the popular John Madden football game franchise is coming to the Facebook platform.
"We have to make Madden more accessible,'' EA Sports' Peter Moore said in an interview with Bloomberg Television. ``You'll see us on Facebook going forward.''
Moore gave no details on how Facebook Madden will look or work, beyond Moore's statement that the game would be a "`simpler experience'' than the console version. We also don't know when we'll see it either, but as soon as EA releases more info on the title, I'll let you know.
So just this week, we learned that the facebook version of Civilization launches in June, and then this news about Madden--what other well known games do you see coming to the Facebook "platform?"

Wondered when franchises would start hitting Facebook. Considering most of the FB games are cookie cutter, spreadsheets, each with a different skin on them, it would work with just about any of them out there.
MW: Move your FNG up the military ranks by clicking repeatative missions to build up your weapons, armour, epuipment, etc... wash, rinse, repeat, ad nausium.
AC: Move your "relatives" through different time periods and assassinating different historical jerks by clicking repeatative missions to build up your weapons, armour, equipment, etc... wash, rinse, repeat, ad nausium.
Pokemon: Move your poketrainer through various areans, fighting new and bigger pokemon by clicking repeatiative missions to build up your pokeweapons, pokearmour, pokequipment, etc... wash, rinse, repeat, and nausium.
However, I might even play them if, after all the collecting and mindless clicking checklists, every 15 mins, they gave you a unique (one that won't just get posted somewhere online) code for some free DLC. That would be cool. Plus, they would make a ton 'o cash.
Seriously, I could see tons of people playing these things (they already do) but, now they would have the backing power of a well known franchise behind them to drive micro-transactions... Gotta have 'em all.

This seems like a BIG waste of time for EA. Anybody who wants to play Madden but doesn't have the newest version can easily spend 2 Bucks at Gamestop and buy anyone of the last 20 that have come out.

But is it FREE? I'll play anything ONCE for free.

I feel this is going to be uncomprehendingly successful, and yet be a Epic Fail of a game, well atleast the Plebs will be able to get their games.
reddvl2008
this has got to be the biggest joke in gaming history after Natal( full body gaming who needs it)
