Set in stone. Get it? Because there’s a stone with the date on the…OK. It’s kind of cheesy, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that come April 13, Sam Fisher-heads will be able to get their life-ending hands on the latest chapter in Ubisoft’s acclaimed stealth franchise, Splinter Cell: Conviction.
Ubisoft confirmed the release date via Twitter (and that shiny rock pictured to the right) this morning. The game was originally scheduled to be released later this month, but was delayed back in January. From what’s been shown of the game so far, it looks like it’s going to be more than worth the wait. Sadly, that won’t make the waiting any more bearable.

About time they have a set date of release, I've been waiting for this for a good long time. I reserved it last year cause it said on a card I recieved in my Assassin's Creed 2 box that it would come out on the 23rd of this month... Oh well, this game looks epic, I'm hoping for it to perform a ground and pound on the other Splinter Cell games, I liked 'em, but they felt odd, I don't know, probably just my own quirkyness. Anyway, about time!

i'm so surprised this is going to eventually come out. it has gone through about 4 overhauls but i guess they think its ready..i've got some suspicions its going to feel very dated.

What does Conviction have to do with a crappy band no one wants to listen to?
