Aliens vs. Predator Multiplayer Demo Hatches Tomorrow

First off let me start off by stating in my opinion, you are not making any sense if you rate this game negatively after only playing one match or even the demo.

If I remember correctly, which I do because I was a hardcore AVP gamer fan for many years, this game has much better graphics and runs ALOT smoother than the original PC version. Now the most negative comments I am hearing I can disprove now because you guys aren't making any sense.

"This isn't like Call of duty!"
--No it isn't, AVP is its own unique game! It has always been like this since 10+ years ago and if you didn't play it back then, then stop criticizing how the game plays now, in fact it runs better than the original! Not every game has to be about running around shooting terrorists with guns, AVP requires much more skill and completely different strategies as different classes. Sure marines use guns but require a lot of caution and stock piling of weapons (in Deathmatch). Predators require stealth and the high ground over your opponents, and Aliens involve mastering the wall crawl and using their superior speed to undermine your enemy. Not only will there be Deathmatch, which I believe was a poor game type choice to represent the game because its not nearly as fun as Team DM, there will be infection and a lot of other really fun objective based and large team based game types!

"This is just a movie game"
--False..and true. Is this game based off of the mediocre AVP movies? No. The original game brought the idea of Aliens, Predator, and Humans fighting amongst each other, but yes this game got its character ideas off of the movies Aliens and the movie Predator. This makes it not really a movie game though because it is not based off of any story line brought on by the recent movies but from the original game.

"I can't see anything!"
--...turn up the brightness setting on video options...or get you're eyes checked...

"One class is better than the rest!"
--I have heard from multiple people that either Predators or Aliens or even marines are more superior than the rest of the class choices. Not true. What IS true is that you as the player will be better at playing as (or enjoy playing as the most) one of the three species more than the others, and when you find what species your best with you need to find the weaknesses of the other characters, for example Aliens are the bulkiest and easiest targets to hit, predators are exposed at close range, and marines are the easiest to pick off one by one.

"Everyone just assassinates all the time"
--Those who just started playing (everyone) finds that assassinations are the easiest because they only require one button to perform, what they do not realize is that they are open for attack because of the length of time it takes to assassinate. Most of the time you'll find three-way or more assassinations. However, when playing as teams I find assassinations rare because you have each others backs (coordinated teams on demo). Now as this game progresses more and more players are using it less because as they play longer they realize (AND YOU SHOULD TOO) that assassinations should only be used on occasion, I find personally that I will used a heavy attack or weapon on a person from behind more than an instant kill because it will allow me to retaliate to any other enemies nearby to allow me to get a double or even a triple kill. Assassination wasn't meant to be you're main attack.

"I don't need another multiplayer game, I will judge this game based off its story mode"
--AVP was popular BECAUSE of its multiplayer! If your waiting to judge this game by its story then you are not thinking clearly. This game gained all of its popularity based off its amazing multiplayer experience, in my opinion it has a much better experience then Call of Duty, MAG, Halo 3, etc. The amount of character choices, game types, closed and open world maps this game has are to die for let alone there will be DLC for this game. Quit wasting your time leveling up on COD, you'll never be the best and once you earn all the guns, who cares? It's been the same experience for the last 10 years put the frickin' game down and try this game out! ITS DIFFERENT AND FUN trust me.

"It's not worth the $65"
--RENT it before you make that assumption. What made COD, Halo ODST worth it this year? The exact same reasons why this game will be great as well! That's why! I wanna buy it obviously; can't afford it yet because of ME2 however, I am still going to rent it when it comes out because I wanna gives this game a shot! If the demo is not enough to encourage you to buy this game then you have to try out the full version people even if it means going over your friends house to try it out. Deathmatch cannot represent what this game will be, the real experience comes from team work against your foes and the horrific events that take place in objective based game types.

I will defend this game to the death because it is one of my most favorite games but I will eat all my words if this games turns out to be awful I promise, just promise me one thing, that you will give this game a shot. I'll see ya on Xbox live.
