It's a pretty big week for X-Play. Yesterday, we celebrated our 1000th episode with a day-long marathon and a special one-hour retrospective, but now we're looking into the future, and starting with today's 1001st episode, X-Play will be presented to you in the glorious spectacle that is HD.
That's right, starting at 6:30PM ET today, Adam Sessler, Morgan Webb, and all of the gaming goodness that is X-Play will be presented to you in a clearer way than ever before. You thought we were beautiful for the first 1000 episodes? You ain't seen nothing yet. Make sure you tune in tonight to check out our high definition premiere.

wow, no wonder you guys are dead set against anything 3-d, it took this long just to go HD. Wish I had saved any episodes showing if you down played HD the same way.

It's taken quite a while....but it's nice to see Xplay making that jump.....one would have imagined the majority of G4 shows would have gone that route sooner than most....what with the tech and so on....still fun...would be more so if I actually had an HDtv and a HDdigital box....and the hd cables...and so on....but still...cheers for others who can enjoy...
now that everyone is HD.....only a matter of time before everything goes 3D......sigh....damn my eyes and their lack of depth perception...

G4HD is channel 693 in Seattle on Comcast. I just reset my DVR for X-Play in HD. Stoked to see previews of games as they were meant to be seen!

G4HD is on Cablevision in Central NJ,on channel 786.

wtf! Verizon Fios doen't even have G4 in HD! no one even gets the channel in HD so what is the point of adding new HD channels!

Ohk; I have G4 for channels 81 & 162 (on Comcast), but neither of them have "HD" next to "G4" underneath the channel number.
But when X-Play came on, it did that "upgrade to HD" animation.
So is X-Play broadcasting in HD from THEIR end? Or do I have to get the specific channel?

DIrectTV does not carry the HD channel for some reason. Even the Horrific local cable company carries it. ....LAME

that's good, Comcast in Seattle added G4HD among many others a while back, though it still broadcasted with black bars to the left and right

I have Time Warner cable too and had no idea there was a G4 in HD...I shall be investigating when I get out of work.
