Aliens vs. Predator Trailer Examines 4-Player, Co-Op "Survivor Mode"

We've come a long way since Gears 2's "Horde Mode". Piling up the kill counter on Locusts, zombies, Covenant Nazi zombies, and more, co-op games have continued their rise to become a staple of gaming. Sega's Aliens vs. Predator throws its hat into the ring with "Survivor Mode" and it's looking damn good. The concept of the hot and heavy, four-player co-op FPS dynamic set in an all-too-familiar nerd franchise has the makings of an instant hit.

Cathartic Denoument

Wait..So is this trailer telling me that only the Humans/Marines have the Survival Mode and not the Aliens & Predators??

Though I will say that I love how they're giving this game a similar/familiar feel to Dead Space's horror factor.

I always loved the sound of the assault rifles in movies. Just make me happy they added the same effect to the game. Looks good.

so, i know this is "co-op", but has there been any word on other co-op modes? or any split-screen play at all? I play w/ my friend on his 360, and as such we can really only play split-screen games...will the online multiplayer have split-screen? please help?

I'd say its looks pretty good bbonds756. i mean i knw what ur saying but think of it like this. its just like Borderlands graphics and drawin style with surviver mode... wait didnt borderlands Maxi's something have a surviver against a horde of enemies? well none the less it looks like a good quick game. it shouldnt have a real story line anyway.
