Eagerly anticipated action game God of War III has a U.S. release date. Set your calendar for March 16, people. The game is a PlayStation 3 exclusive, and we fully and completely expect to surrender all free time to this title when it is released.

sweet...i work on the 16th but get out at 7:30, then i will buy the game and i will be off for 5 days of playing it! I hope i don't beat it in 1 day though

FFXIII and Yakuza 3 on March 9th, Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver on March 14th, and God Of War III on March 16th. So many games in a one week time span. I think it's all good but it's also good that taxes come before then so everyone will have the money. I picked up MAG recently and there's going to be Star Ocean (PS3 version), White Knight Chronicles, BioShock 2, and Heavy Rain coming in February so yes like someone posted earlier the gaming industry is going to make us go broke, but in a good way. Usually September, October, and November are the power months in gaming but this year it looks like it'll be the first 3 months that will have all the power.

I am really looking forward to this. The graphics on the demo were highly impressive, even down to the minuscule sound effects (the chains on the Blades) that make it so much more engulfing. I'm hoping the developers talk about their experience with the Cell and such, whether they tapped it out or think there is more potential.

so pumped for this game. I got the Ultimate Edition pre-ordered which is gonna be awesome! I first heard it was March 10th a while ago, but I can hold off the decapitations and limb-slicing for 6 extra days.

I'm pretty sure the gaming industry is trying to make us all broke by the end of March with such games as GoW 3 and FF XIII among other games being released within the same time frame.
