TheFeed likes to give props to Art with a capital A, especially when it involves a four-wall mural of Sonic the Hedgehog in a child's room. Check it out above. It's the work of mural painter John Artnott, who does not shy away from the dark side of video games... click the cut to see what I mean.
Usually, I enjoy the DIY spirit of Dads and Mums who create bad art from video games on their kids walls -- it shows that parental love can't quite conquer a lack of artistic talent -- but in this case: Wow! What do you think?

I used to draw Sonic characters (mostly just Sonic, Tails & Knuckles) when I was a kid. Not because I liked the games, but because they're all so friggin easy to do...They should do Earthworm Jim next...

Love it. Not exactly my favorite characters but they did a pretty nice job. I am looking forward to doing this for my 8 month old in a few years, when its time to move away from the baby stuff. Fingers crossed that he will be into Comic books like his dear old dad.

as an artist and a video game lover, i am jealous these kids got this on their walls! at the most, i was allowed to put a magazine page tacked to my wall. i also dont really care for the style as much, but it's still cool nonetheless.
but whats up with the white dude in the bottom picture? looks like he's angrily flipping the bird. and which kid gets to sleep on the side of the room with the heroes? will he end up saving the world one day from his evil brother?
also, these pics look old school. was this taken recently?
