Finally! January 27th marks Apple's special press conference, where they will unveil their "latest creations." Will it be a tablet device or an iPhone for Verizon? What will Steve Jobs reveal in his keynote address? The speculation is running rampant, but thankfully, we've got Chris Hardwick reporting from the event to tell us all about it.
Tune in to Attack of the Show at 7pm on Wednesday, 1/27 to see what Hardwick find out from Apple, what this all means on The Loop and even a special appearance from Steve Jobs himself.

Do people just use a computer to type? If so, why not just use a type writer? Do you pay your bills online? Why not just mail them out. Oh, online banking? Why not just take a trip to the bank. Get the picture? Why have a dozen different gadgets just taking up space in your house or in your luggage while traveling when you can just carry one. I know I'm tired of carrying a dozen gadgets with a dozen different chargers when I go on vacation. Oh I forgot, why not just be on vacation when I go on vaction...right? :o)

I agree with kyuubi08. I mean why ruin something that works very well on its own? I used to have a cell phone that only called people. Then a camera, a calculator, an address book, file sharing, internet, texting and even a screen were added to it. Seriously man! How am I supposed to JUST call people with all this other junk on my phone. I also wouldn't trade my vista capable laptop for anything. It's just soo handy I couldn't imagine living in a world without being asked seven times if I'm sure I want to do something on it. I'm very flighty. Thank you microsoft.

It's called technology people! Why not benefit from the evolution of products, Why should an mp3 player just sit there and only play music when it can instead be a multimedia device. If the features are too much, I am sure a zune will suit their needs.

for the price you pay for an macbook pro, or any apple product in general, you can get so much more out the pc type product. take the iTouch for example. apple took what used to be a good music player, and butchered it. now its all about apps. who cares about apps? you purchased an mp3 player, to listen to mp3's, not figure ur carb intake. come on sheeple...can u not see what apple is trying to do to us?

Maybe they'll announce that they've decided to stop being so stuck up, stop killing the consumer by releasing marginal upgrades every year, forcing them to pay to "unlock" features via firmware update, create a product that isn't trash after the battery dies, or maybe all of the above?
More likely none of the above. :(
Oh Apple, I love your products, except all the parts about them I HATE.

In case you haven't got the memo but they have momentum swinging by quick and what better way to have a conference with the baddest of the baddest. Is a nice lil way to say that the time couldn't have been perfect. I guess you could say.
But they always meet expectation, they always seem to improve more than what analysts say so it says a lot about the franchise. A pretty smart and intelligent franchise, if you tell me.
By the way, I forgot about you guys! Can you believe it? Is not like you don't matter...in some sense you don't but keep doing your thang.
