Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect fans were treated to a brief bit of morning delight today after nine bits of downloadable content for BioWare’s Mass Effect 2 found their way onto Xbox Live Marketplace, and were briefly available for download for free by anyone fortunate enough to be aware of the error.

The prematurely available bonus DLC included the Blood Dragon Armor, the Collectors' Weapon and Armor, the Inferno Armor, the M-29 Incisor Sniper Rifle, the Normandy Crash Site, the Recon Hood, the Sentry Interface, the Terminus Weapon and Armor, and the Umbra Visor. Some of these items were pre-order bonuses from GameStop and EA’s online store, some were to be accessible via the special edition of the game, and the rest is expected to be available tomorrow for free anyway.

You can still find links to the items on Xbox.com, but the DLC is no longer available for download.

Anyone manage to pick up any of these DLC items early?

[Thanks for the tip readers!]
