The past decade in gaming featured some of the best games ever created, and X-Play is here to document that with this three-part look at the best that the aughts had to offer. Watch these videos and let us know if you agree or disagree with Adam and Morgan's assessment of the best of the 2000's. Is your favorite game represented in the list?
Here's Part One, including Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Fable II, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and more.
In Part Two, we encounter Fallout 3, Bioshock, God of War, and other games that burned up our consoles and computers over the past ten years.
And, finally, we come to part three of our list, which includes the MMO juggernaut that is World of Warcraft, the action packed Orange Box, and the haunting Shadow of the Colossus.

i always wanted to enjoy fable. it seemed like a really top notch simple solid good game.
hell ya fallout 3! slow ass game but all encompassingly awesome beyond concept
bioshock is collectively and continuously a great solid perfect game. one of my personal favorite that i wouldnt mind playing over and over...
i feel the same for god of war. continuous and incredible

although bioshock is great and deserves to be on this list, I think GTAIV was more innovative in terms of story.

I liked Fable II, but still disagree with being the best game of 2008, I would choose Fallout 3. Seeing as Fallout 3 beats in the category of best RPG so why can't it beat it as best game of 2008? Still, Fable II is enjoyable but don't see how it can be best games of the decade. Also, no love for Resident Evil 4 and Grand Theft Auto series?

Im sorry but this list is okay at best but how can none of the Halos be in it. Im not a fanboy at all but those 3 games alone of the course of the 2000s changed gaming atleast the first one. This list fails in my honest opinion.

i just think people should stop making these lists cuse there have been to many great games in the past 3 years to make an extremely long list, let alone the past 10. Eventually people are going to get pissed. And where is MGS4? i personally thought it was better then 3, and any legend of zelda, Mario, Metriod, Super Smash Bro, FF, or at least 1 Kingdom Hearts should all be mentioned. Maybe make a top 100 of the decade so you can get them all.

Some people may not agree with me but i think that Kingdom Hearts was one of the most unique games out there and it deserves a spot on this list...
