Gee, I wonder which gaming magazine Halo fans are going to be picking up next month? But just in case you were wondering, Game Informer’s February issue won’t just feature a snazzy Halo: Reach cover; it will also include a 10-page article about Bungie’s prequel/follow-up to Halo 3: ODST that will offer plenty of new details, artwork, interviews and more.
Concept art is always a tough thing to draw conclusions from, but I’m sure you all will have plenty to say about the upcoming cover. My first impression: based on the various character models, it appears that there will be various Spartan classes to choose from in the game. This could also mean that we could see a four-play co-op campaign mode as well. Or not. It’s anyone’s guess at this point.
Halo: Reach is scheduled for release later this year.

I know the helmet with the skull on it looks like a rip-off of ghost from MW2 but it still looks dope.

Showing emotion in spartans would kinda go against the grain of what spartans were trained to be. Emotionless killing machines. Not to say they didn't have emotions, they just didn't show them.
But, bungie always has other humans as characters, so some ODST notch story telling will be nice. I'm secretly hoping that we get to play as some ODST's in this game too. No reason why the whole game has to be played as a spartan, and they already established that ODSTs are fun to play. I'd like to play as a marine too, but that will never happen. I just want to see multiple sides of the conflict from different perspectives. The almost god-like perspective of the spartan is a bit skewed as you feel quite invincible.

t it would be immaculate to ever surpass mw2 's record but maybe after a while people will realize how good of a game it will be and will sell alot more gradually but i exppect 5 million by the end of 6 months

Imagine playing as the sniper character in the background, EPIC!!!

i wonder what collectors editions for this one will be like, as much as i love the helmet i think we were all just expecting more. And please just show us the different personalities in each of the spartans, i think we all want more than just different looking Spartans, as much as we love MC he can be that kinda robotic no emotion spartan he has always been solely focused on his mission, his orders, and his soldiers. And although all the spartans are always focused on their missions they do show more personality than MC and have different attributes. Also make the cut scenes amazing and give us plenty of them perhaps even an lenghthy intro video of the children and than spartan project and their training, DAMN IT GIVE US DEPTH!!!!!!! :)
what am i talking about BUNGIE knows what their doing

how bout they make a game worth a cover story this time...i have high hopes as long as it get a little more mature, and i don't mean aliens that swear like 10-year olds that learned some new words.

I think its great what bungie is doing with Halo Reach, with all these dynamic soldiers. Cant wait to hear more about this game

I really am digging the cover, and I figure the armor looks so big because it's old. I just want a date to play the Beta already.

@sarid
This should follow Master Chief. If it is based off the source material (Halo: Reach by Eric Nylund) then it should be the start of the war, and the fall of the Spartans. Master Chief being one of those said Spartans.

@sarid;
I would have gone with "Halo: Reach-around", because I feel that the game will do that to me. Even if it didn't, I would still play the game and give it a shot.

Can't wait. I hope they go back to a health system, ODST was 5 times better then Halo 3 just because the added health system. Halo went down hill when the MC lost his health bar. After ODST's completely fan focused campaign (and I mean the fans of Halo, not its generic multiplayer) I am hoping for even more goodness. Hopefully we get a complete package. Solid campaign with co-op, Firefight with match making (And spartans), and multiplayer (hopefully beefed up to make it a little less stale, but probably not).

Oh damn ten page worth of Halo Reach stuff? Can't wait to find out more about the game.

Halo: Reach-ing for more money
i mean they better do one hell of a job on this otherwise i dont see halo lasting any longer if this is a huge flop like odst was.
besides i am sure no one cares about these new guys all we want to see is what happens next for the MC not some put together rookies that dont mean anything to the story
