Remedy Entertainment and Microsoft will finally deliver the long-awaited action-thriller Alan Wake on Xbox 360 this spring, but when the end credits scroll, that's not the true "end." Alan Wake will have additional downloadable episodes after launch, revealed Microsoft's chief of entertainment and devices, Robbie Bach, during his part of Microsoft's CES 2010 keynote.
Bach did not reveal any other details on the downloadable episodes.

Whatever, but I am still angry over them cancelling the PC version. This is one awesome game I'm going to be missing out on unfortunately. Well, at least I hope it's awesome...

Honestly I am tired of this DLC crap already. Just give me the full game and stop ripping me off for 60.00 on 1/3 of the game and the rest I can pay more fun. Screw this game. Taken them forever to bring it out, they can keep it

And...PASS. Not doing it. Ship complete or I won't play your game. Ever. Enough is enough.

Man that sucks...but the same thing is going happen to PS3 owners who are going to purchase Heavy Rain.
Even to those that bought AC2 have to purchase Downloadable episodes.
Its all about the dough lol

' ' ANd why didnt they just squeeze this onto the disc at Launch? because they want $$$. ' '
That and the xbox 360 uses last gen. dvd which makes all the exclusives games so limited, just like forza 3 which was in 2 disks, microsoft was really stupid not to include Blu-ray on the xbox 360.

I mean, I understand DLC after launch. Kind of like the shock and excitement I felt when say, for example, they released bonus levels for Star Wars the Force Unleashed and Battlefield: Bad Company.
Alan Wake will be good, But when they announce it this far before the game launches, thats lazy development and a cheap rip of your money right there.

Hopefully it doesn't end up like Half Life 2's episodic content and take ages for everything to come out. I don't have an 360, and I don't know if I'll pick it up on PC, but either way hopefully they don't make the players wait too long.
