8-Bit Remake Of Left 4 Dead Now Available For Download

We’ve been hearing about Eric Ruth Games’ 8-bit version of Valve’s popular zombie killing simulator Left 4 Dead for a while now, and thankfully we can now stop settling for simply watching gameplay videos, because the game has been released!

As Kotaku reports, nostalgia-loving gamers can download the free game from the developer’s site this very moment, and commence with the pixilated zombie slaying in mere minutes. I haven’t downloaded the game yet, but I’m sure some of you have/are planning to, so feel free to share your thoughts on this quirky reimaging.

LOL This is too cute!
If this game came out back in the 80's, I would have played and loved this game. Makes you wonder what impact the game would have made if it was released early. Still, this is cute.

haha, awwww thats adorable. lol. But honestly, the music sounds like a really happy mood and is there any hunters, smokers, tanks, or witches? Other than that, it would be a huge hit back in the day. would get repetative now but if your a fan i guess you should go for it and try it out.

Is that safe just taking those health paks from zombies like that? IMO you need to sanitize 'em prior to using zombie-held health paks!

Love it. It's got that Earthbound look. I'd like to see more zombies on the level though.

Sombody needs to give Eric Ruth a few million dollars in start-up capital for his own development company. If this guy can do this much with some drive and dedication, imagine what he can do with a proper budget and better tools at his disposal.
