Three live Paul McCartney tracks will be arriving as Rock Band and Rock Band 2 DLC on Jan. 5th.
The “New York City Pack 01” in the Rock Band Music Store contains a trio of tracks recorded during the former Beatles' historic three-night musical christening of New York's Citi Field. This is McCartney’s solo debut on the Rock Band platform.
Here are the tracks:
- Band on the Run (live)
- Jet (live)
- Sing the Changes (live)
These tracks will be available Jan. 5 for the Xbox 360 and Wii and Jan. 7 for PlayStation3. They will cost the usual price of $3.99 for the whole pack and $1.99 if you buy 'em one song at a time.
What do you think? Are you excited for these tracks, or is this more like music your grandparents listen to?

That kind of ticks me off. I'm a Paul McCartney and Beatles fan. I only have the Beatles Rock Band, now I need to go buy regular Rock Band just to play songs that would make sense if they were in Paul McCartney's own game.

I'm very excited for this. I grew up listening to Paul before I even knew he was one of The Beatles. Band on the Run is by far one of my all-time favorite songs, too.
I was disappointed when it was Guitar Hero Word Tour's "Slow Ride", in that it was just sooooo easy. Hopefully it will be a little harder here.

Why not add to Beatles:RB DLC list, seems like good fit.

They should have patched them games to allow them to be played in both RB 1/2 and Beatles.
