I suppose I can understand why everyone and their mom is comparing this to GOW series but hello when you have a producer thats worked on both projects seemingly back to back, duh thier going to look and seem similar. GIVE THEM A BREAK PLEASE. rate the game for what it is and not what it looks like. Anyone play Darksiders because to me that seems real similar to GOW as well,creators can only be so inventive now a days theres billions of games out there and it seem that certain factions of gamers crave a certain type of look and feel of a game. bottom line if you like GOW you'll like this game and if you dont oh well sell it back to gamestop and cut your losses. AND P.S. About those comments on other threads about hot girls not liking video games pssh. I love my video games and im hot so ha!

I read in the most recent gameinformer (Gamestop) that EA is cutting its work force and shutting down a lot of their developer studios including pandemic, mythic entertainment, and viceral. So it looks like Dante has been scraped!

I have played the demo and I can say that I wasnt that interested in it before but I preordered the game after playing it. Its going to be a good one. As for GoW3 i can wait on that. i never did play the first 2 gams up until the collection came out for the ps3 so im in the middle of playing those right now.

I played the GOW3 demo last night, came with my copy of district 9 blue ray, the demo is AWSOME!...............Dante demo was fun, its a sure rental. GOW3 is a sure buy.

Why not just call this game God of War 2 and a half....I would try and explain it in details, but just play the two demos back to back and you'll be amazed. I think Dante's Inferno would've been good had it came out a year/year and a half ago.....
