Remember how cool Serious Sam was? How the PC game's wave after wave of enemies, stylistic look, humor and ridiculously fast action felt like a minor revolution in the shooter genre? Well the third Serious Sam game is on its way sooner than many thought: According to developer Croteam, we will see Serious Sam 3 in 2010.
"Serious Sam 3 is happening for sure," CEO Roman Ribaric told gaming site Destructoid. "It is currently planned to be finished in 2010."
The game will use the Serious Engine 3, but other than that, there hasn't been a ton of details released about the game -- we don't know a specific release date, consoles, plot, etc. But 2010 is almost here, man; put your waiting shoes on, people.
