Xbox 360 and PS3 title Bayonetta has been making some serious noise lately, what with its scantily clad protagonist and its Devil May Cry style, but ultimately, does it measure up?
Our own Sterling McGarvey put Bayonetta to the test, and notes:
Sega's twitch action game evokes the best elements of Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden while contributing its own unique flair to the genre. Even a hackneyed storyline and awful voice acting can't keep down Bayonetta's exceptional combat system.

There must be a Xbox insider sabotaging playstation because the differences between the game on both consoles is ridiculous.

Sega and Platinum Games have reportedly "taken responsibility" for the framerate issues and murky textures, and are working with Sony on making sure that it's equal "to the level of the console's power." See how that works out.

I've been hearing how bad the PS3 port was done. Honestly, after playing the demo, the PS3 version does not feel and looks that terrible. Hopefully this notion will make Amazon.com lower the price.

i had ZERO desire to play this game until you wonderful people at g4 gave me a code for the demo. And after that short snid-bit i am sold... can not wait

this game will be awesome it has every thing hot sexy women and violence all from the guys who brought us devil may cry. i think ill stick with the famitsu review witch gave it a perfect score. and i dont what misogyny means but it sounds like a good thing to me.

I thought the misogyny in Ninja Gaiden was bad, I got the demo for this game and had to wash my hands when I was done. I mean, they say that the one-button control scheme is for novice players, but I think it's just so you can play using only one hand. Take that as you will.

If I'm turned off from the game due to all the J-pop and the ridiculous Japanese feel, does that make me racist? I mean, I'm still gonna rent it, but a 3rd atomic bomb is rooking rearry nice right about now. (Okay, I am racist.)

The PS3 got a bad ported version again thanks to lazy incompetence. A wont buy for me. I will stick with tried and proven titles with developers that are meticulous and have an eye for perfection.

I love how G4 reviews games, always being objective. Nice review! can't wait to get my hands on this game :P

Sad that the ps3 version has way too much loading which makes the 360 version better :/
