Spec Ops: The Line Announced

The trailer for Spec Ops: The Line revealed a crumbling, destroyed take on the once-flourishing city of Dubai. Take-Two Interactive has come under some criticism for its depiction of Dubai, but a producer on Spec Ops: The Line defended its portrayal of the city, announcing the change occurred "after an unimaginable natural disaster has struck the region."

Take-Two president and CEO Ben Feder revealed what the mysterious "unimaginable natural disaster" is during Take-Two's financial call covering its fourth quarter results this afternoon.

Spec Ops: The Line takes place in a "sand storm devastated Dubai," according to Feder.

That's one hell of a sand storm.
