The critical acclaim for Borderlands has translated into commercial success, as well. Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Borderlands publisher 2K Games, announced on a financial call this afternoon that Borderlands has sold more than two million copies worldwide.
"[Borderlands] has established itself as a key franchise for Take-Two, for which the Company has long-term publishing rights," said the company in its fourth quarter financial results.
