The sequel to top-selling video game Batman: Arkham Asylum was announced over the weekend. While not exactly a surprise (the first game was so awesome, you had to figure a sequel was in the works) we did learn a little more about the game. Specifically, it will feature The Joker and Harley Quinn as adversaries, and the official website's URL (ArkhamHasMoved.com) is a bit of a hint in itself.

The sequel's gonna be awesome!!! I really hope it comes out next year! I want to be able to explore gotham city stalking the bad guys and everything. This time i hope you'll be able to drive the batmobile, batplane, and use some other gadgets too!! I was a little dissapointed that you couldn't do that in arkam asylum. Hopefully this time we will be able to do that. I can't wait!! No seriously I can't, it has to come out next year!!

Cant wait awesome game. Hope the next one lives up to the first or better yet surpasses it. Not a 5 hour campain like Modern Warfare 2.

No More Delays! Summer 2010 or bust! Big ups to Rocksteady studios! Website is coming along nicely. Hope we get a larger arsenal of Bat tools this time around. Heck a gas mask wouldn't hurt either. I thought Poison Ivy had a beef with ol' Smiley from the first game though. She was pretty pissed that her "babies" were being abused for Joker's nefarious schemes. We definitely need to face off against Harley Quinn again. Want to fight Clayface, Two-Face,Prometheus(spelled wrong), Catwoman. Hope the clipping issues whenever Batman knocksout Arkham's worst inmates won't be as noticable. And that they fix the camera, and quicker combo inputs.

if you actually look take sometime to look at the trailer, you can clearly see the two face, Iceberg refers to the club that penguin owns, sionis refers to the black mask, and there is a black cat on a sire escape...might mean catwomen

ok i dont get it, how in the heck is joker bacl? i mean i love the joker there i no one better than him, but also Quinn, she got locked up, how are they going to play this one? meanin there is someone that help them from the inside that we do not know about someone who was on the first game and we didnt notice. And they better explain that, i love BAA but again im not into sequels where the villian from the 1st one survive and comes back on the second one when the joker was done and next to batman when Gordon informed him of what was going on in Gotham, how does that work? sorry im just lost

Wow i just went to the site and watched the trailer and it was awesome.....i was already excited when i read the sequel announcement but now that i watched the trailer im even more excited......i just hope it comes out at a good time like it did this year....a release time to where it gives players plenty of time to enjoy this one......WOW wow WOW is all i can say now!!!!

I'm surprised nobody sees what I see. Arkham needed to get so much bigger that it takes up parts of Gotham City. Plus, did you see the Joker was an old man? Arkham Asylum 2 will take place in the future. This may actually be like Frank Miller's, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.

yep i knew it was only a matter of time before they made a sequel cause i loved B:AA and i still play through the challenge maps when i feel the need to crack some bones lol cant wait to find out more info

The Uncle Sam poster is actually a clue that Two-Face is going to be the main villain in the sequel, NOT the Joker.

ummm what? harley quinn is taking care of the joker in the video.... is this gonna be like a take on the mad love storyline? You know the orgin of harley quinn an the joker and her's relationship? Then she is about to kill batman but the joker stops her because he wants to kill batman? Then he beats the living crap out of her and throws her out the window. but then they would have to change it and make them like fight for the whole game, like harley helping batman. then she would have to end back in the hospital. that would be an awesome game lol. Wow that was like the definition of rambling... 0.0. Oh well that would be awesome seeing as it is my favorite batman story ever!

PT'ed the first game, and can't wait for the second one. Congrats to Rocksteady for winning studio of the year. They deserve it Batman came out of nowhere and knocked us all on our butts. Great Frickin' Game.

NeroIV - the ending was a teaser. You got either Scarecrow, Bane, or Croc to pup up and grab the vials, so choosing one over the others would be pretty pointless. Expect to see more of Dr. Crane though, those were easily some of the best gameplay levels from B:AA.
I love that they convinced Mark Hammill to comeback for the Joker again. Same cast, same crew, same writer, different area. Can't wait.
