Uncharted 2 winning VGA's GOTY, and being a contender everywhere else is proof that gamers take this stuff seriously. There is a pretty big difference between "Game of The Year" and "Most Popular".

I agree Uncharted 2 was by far a better experience. The story and characters were top notch. If Modern Warfare wins it is a popularity contest. This shouldn't be that way. It is suppose award the game with the greatest experience.

I am pleased that Infamous and AC2 are running, but Uncharted 2 Game of the Year hands down. If Modern Warefare 2 wins... then its all just a popularity contest. (in my opinion of course, but seriously... don't act like there have never been any shooters before, and that Killzone 2 isn't a force to be rekoned with)
